Only 30 more sleeps til Bow Season

Its actually 31 but I will not sleep worth beans the night before, be wide awake by 2:30 dressed and ready to go by 3:30 in the bush by just after 4:00 and then have to wait an hour before its light enough to see....

Will have to do my prehunt scouting in a couple weeks (around the 20th) then will be good to go.....

Gonna stick an arrow in the first elk that comes along....:grin: :grin: :grin: :grin:

Gonna be ignoring the early deer bow season here, but still will be out on the 1st helping my bro with his goat. But really am stoked about hunting my grizz come the 10th, so I've got 41 sleeps to go.

cant wait ill be in making the long trip from port coquitlam to the kootenys to do that elk hunt again. it'l be bull only for me im not changing my hunting area from last year to confine with the either sex regs .

Hey Whacker, Did you get a bull elk last year? Is that any size bull you got for this year? Let me guess Moyie area? It doesn't matter but you should have a good chance right, good luck. oh boy oh boy oh boy,, its just around the corner, i have been scoutin for about a week now and have i found some real nice elk, including one that we dubbed "THE CLUB" he has a beautiful 6 points on the one side and 4 on the other with a 3rd beam coming back about 3 feet with a big ball on the end of it.. ya thats going to be the one i am trying to get but if any other one comes in i wont hesitate to put an arrow in it.
