Here are a couple videos sent to me by the Mexican hunter of the Buckle winning mountain Caribou I guided him to in the Yukon last fall. If you never saw the picture thread it scores 434+ gross and 417+ Net. And won the YOA buckle for largest caribou for 2010. Have to throw a thank you out to a fellow HBC member that was my wrangler and ran the camera, so thanks again Chris it was some good times. We arent profesional thats for sure but it shows a couple great bulls. Was pretty tough to turn the first two down as they were probably close to book also but we knew that big guy was there some where. Anyways I hope you enjoy, hope these work, please let me know if they dont.

Great to see hunts like this, thanks for sharing. I have not shot a caribou before, but do they tend to be tough to drop ? Did he hit it three times and what was he using, just curious cause it seemed to absorb the shots pretty well.

Thanks again :-)

All 4 shots were solid hits through the boiler room. He was shooting a .300win mag out of a Sako A7.

Most caribou I have guided have been fairly easy to drop but the odd one is more stubborn and cn take some lead.
