Looks pretty cool, when you shoot the birds do you clean them or leave them whole for the taxi ? I would like to get a bird or two done in the future. I would have liked to get my labs first duck done but I was more interested in eating it because it was my first duck too ha ha. It tasted good so we will be hunting for more ducks next season. I like the work in the pics.

on birds wrap them in a plastic bag squeeze out all air and freeze do not try skinning them or gutting them measurements are needed to make the mannikin. try not to break feathers obviously, thats about it.

A nylon or newspaper wrap made into a cylinder works well for protecting and freezing your Birds.. heres a Rooster i had done and i built the habitat stand.

Thanks Guys. The taxidermy was done by Sugar Creek taxidermy here in Red Deer.
I kind of have this Shed hunting addiction as well so what better place to use some up. Ibuilt the habitat stand and Marco the taxidermist said there was lots of requests for more of them ,who knows maybe a good winter project to put some more together.
