Ok, Team #3 this is your page to post pictures, scores and anything else you want to talk about between your selves. As a team you have to come up with a team name. Get one person to PM me with the name.

Remeber to post a picture along with the score of your bird here and on the 2011 Spring Turkey Contest Scores thread.

Sorry Team 3, Springer just phoned me and is having some issues at home. He won't be able to make the trip to BC. So your team is a man short. I will leave his name up for now, but if anyone else wants to sign up they will take his spot.

OK so I woke up at 430, had to force the girlfriend out of bed and made our way out to a couple of areas that I thought may have birds. We drove to the first spot and hiked a bit but didn't see any sign or hear anything plus it looked like too much snow so we decided to go to the other spot. We arrived at the next location and walked in a bit and saw 3 toms 100 yards up, so we stepped into the timber and started calling, all three answered right away. After calling back and forth for 15 minutes I decided to go quiet, 10 minutes later they were 10 yards in front of me (right when I was going to give up and move up on them), so I popped up and shot the biggest one I think, we have a bit of it on film and a couple of pictures to come, good luck!

Sorry team I have to let you all down. The only weekend I could make free for turkey hunting is now taken up with a family concern. As much as I like hunting I hope you can understand that family always comes first. Best of luck to the rest of the team.
