small game

I just bought my first gun, a single shot 16 guage cooey remington 840, went shooting on the weekend and taking my core this week, i know grouse is out of the picture till september, i still have to pick up the regs, but do you know of any small game you can hunt right now??

Snowshoe hare is open in my area till the end of the month...

snowshoe hare is open in most areas, but check the regs. If you can find somewhere with snow it's a lot of fun.
