Who has hunted Hudson's Hope

wanting to plan a trip around hudson's hope for mule deer this coming season. i know nothing about the area, if anyone has hunted there or is familiar on this area it would be great to get some info thank you. i heard there are some big deer in the peace river area :-D

First advice would be to order the private property / crown maps from McElhaney in Fort St John.....tell them you want them for hunting and they'll know what you're asking for.

It will save you a tonne of driving around gazing at mule deer that are on private lands that you won't be able to hunt.

I saw bucks everywhere when i was up there at the start of september, a couple were close to the biggest that i've ever seen but they were all in private property though

No deer left in Chetwynd. They all migrated to Charlie Lake.:mrgreen:

Most of the good whitetail areas are hammered hard by the locals and the Guide Outfitter..Mulies, well you really have to spend time finding them off of private property. Good luck this fall.
