Elk/Moose old alaska highway question ??

l am planning a hunt up in 7-49 up the Alaska Highway and l noticed a section of the old highway still intact, this section of highway is just before Fort Nelson. Has anyone hunted up here in the last week of Aug and what is the area like. Please respond.

Some seismic access from 97; otherwise it"s up the Musk with a boat. Only the adventurous need apply says my buddy Tod. Check at Fort Nelson and check your B.C. regs If you do go on the Muskwa and get up there I say theres moose elk and mulies.Tod said, Watch for Grizz.

Iam also heading up to 7-49 Aug 18th i've got a grizzly draw for that area,but its my first time up there also.
