Nascar fishing

Has anyone seen the Tarpon fishing tournaments on T.V. in Boca Grande pass? 50 or so boats jockey around each other dog fighting for the big one, winch it in and drag it to a weigh boat along the shore. The teams of 5 men or so are like a nascar pit crew with sponsors and logos flying everywhere, points are awarded weekly and there are announcers broadcasting the whole 'show.' I hope the BC public doesn't think this is how you get it done up here and has left a bad taste in my mouth.
Makes me appreciate those long fishless days up here a little more, at least its quiet.
