I would like your opinions on compound bow quivers. I need a new quiver and no longer like the pse mongoose quiver. Something reliable, lightweight etc. What amis everyone else using. Is a 2 piece better than a 1 piece. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you

I personally like the 2 piece quivers ... you will need to figure out what mounting points you have on your bow ... Octagonal or triangluar? that will pretty much dictate what breeds you can have .... each manuafaturere makes adaptors for them ... but the less stuff you can put on the better in my opinion ...

I like the Octane quivers with the magnetic hoods personally

My new PSE 2 piece has magnetic top and I'd have to say that's a pretty sweet set up. Cost was $120 though. However it's good for holding narrow diameter arrows and normal size ones.

I was just going to say, that I really dislike the way the magnetic hood makes my bow terribly unbalanced. If I could turn it upside down, I'd have better things to say about it.
I prefer two piece quivers because they usually mount much closer to the bow for a better feel and balance.

I've tried hip quivers, back quivers, 2- piece quivers, and now I've settled on the Kwikee Kwiver 1-piece. Cheap, goes on and comes of with a twist of the locking lever, doesn't rattle, and has numerous holes so that I can mount it high or low. Does the job for me.

If I could have a new one - I'd be looking really hard at the Alpine 5 or 7 arrow Sof-Loc quiver.

I've got a Tight Spot quiver on the way for my 2010 Admiral....will give it a review once it arrives.

The one thing I like in a quiver is two points of contact on the arrow with the head free floating but protected by the cover. Without the broadhead lodged in foam, you don't have to worry about mechanical heads deploying when removing them from your quiver.

I really like the Limbsaver two piece quiver. It comes with both triangular and round mounting bits. It mounts very securely and being Limbsaver is quiet as a church mouse. It also holds the arrows in very nicely and is light! $75.

PSE makes a 2-piece specifically for their own bows. Try one of them.

Here's just one....

I bought the tightspot quiver for my bowtech destroyer and it's awesome, hands down the best one available read some reviews online about it that's what I did couldn't find a single bad review.
