Scouting for turkeys (pictures)

Here are a few pics of my weekend scouting in southern bc. i only managed to find these turkeys.
It was worth the drive for one day even if it was a little expensive for fuel.
Hope these pics get the blood pumping for the upcoming season.
It is definitely going to be tough to find the birds where one can hunt them.
There seems to be a lot of private property where these birds seem to like hang out. I even asked a few ranchers if it was possible to hunt and got mostly negative responses.:( just thought i would let a few of you inexperienced turkey hunters like myself know what to expect when you are coming from a long distance.
If you must know where i was looking ,it was between rock creek and grand forks area. the birds i managed to capture on camera were in grand forks area.

Looks like there along the RR tracks. Lots of them there..Good luck to all who want to hunt them.
