Walleye fishing Columbia River

trying to understand if walleye fishing is open in April, in the Columbia river, I am sure its in the book, either I cant find it, or understand it, I am heading that way April 15th maybe, any information would be great, thanks!

depends where you go...Page 38 and 39 0f the 2011-2013 regs.

dont matter they dont come up the river until into june and the best fishing is in aug after the river recedes and clears up after run off
but there is some good rainbow fishing at that time

so no resident walleye, too bad, I guess I will have to stay in the bush chasing turkeys
