Wow , what a quick spring grizz hunt. Was up early and hit my bait station meant for wolves. Knowing there was a grizz out earlier on the dead cow I knew chances were to have an easy grizz kill this afternoon. Pemberton hasnt had an LEH for years so obviously they werent ON leh and were wide open to hunt.
I snuck in on my motorized vehicle to the bait and imediatly saw fresh tracks. I had previously loaded my rifle before leaving home just in case there would be some fast action and sure enough , there he was,HUGE prime boar with two small brothers ( musta bin) so a cranked him one right from the quad , didnt even have time to turn it off....smoked him and his two little brothers took off up a tree , crazy as I heard grizzlies cant climb...
Anyway , skinned at home now and looking for a taxidermist , anyone know of any?:mrgreen: ( PS , whats a swizzle stick? couldnt find one??:?)

Funny reading back. I'm lucky no one took it seriously back then as I had never read the regs ever in my life until I shared that grizzly hunt on here. I learnt my lesson so I'm going to keep the story of the grizz I killed today to myself.
