July Tuchodi Trip 2011

I'm going to try to make a trip in to Tuchodi for the first weekend in July. Family/Fishing Trip. Just wondering if there are any people here with similar plans. I'm going to try to set up camp in the Lagoon, on the first lake (popular spot, so I might not get it).

Anyway, wheather permitting, it's always a great trip. If you are there, and see an 18' White "Shuman" boat with tinted windows, that's me. Stop in for a coffee if you get a chance:-D.

How's the fishing in there? I've been up the Muskwa in my 26' 350 Kodiak, Hamilton 3 stage, but the Tuchodi looks a little skinny for a big boat? What do you think? Thanks.

At that time of yr, I would run up there with a 26' but it would be a little tight. Here's something to watch if you are considering it. These clips are from a previous trip:

RD, a gang of us from FSJ are headed up July 6th. not sure where we are going to stay this year. first lake or "lack of nookie". will be a 3 or 4 fire fish, a couple shuman for sure.
went for the first rip of the year up the peace today. sure nice to get out, cant wait for the skinny running to begin..

Not that fast most of the time:-D 20-25 MPH is a good crusing speed. I will always try to put some clips togeather from our trips, but it is a very time consuming process. Glad you like them.

Everything is still covered with 3ft of ice here.
I'll keep an eye out for you, sounds like you should be hard to miss:-D

As long as work goes a planned I will be part of the FSJ group going up on the 6th. Had 4 boats the last 2 years but hope to have 6-8 this year. Always a blast. See you guys up there!!!
