I finally got out to look for some sheds today, i found 5 and an old buck skull.
Out of the 5 sheds, i kept 2, one of which is a fresh one that i have trail camera pictures of from july. I found the shed about 3-4 kms away from where i got a picture of him, on a different hillside across a main road. I was quite surprised when i looked at the picture when i got home and it was the same buck.



Here's the shed from the trail camera buck, now i need to go back and find the other side. It's the right side with the split browtines.

what approximate elevation did you find the fresh shed at?

i think between 500m and 1000m, not really sure though

ahh looked like it to me. i went for a little hike the other day probably just under 3000ft and didn't see didlee squat. wasn't lookin too hard for sheds but the deer winter in the area so i figured it would be littered with sheds. same kinda country your in.

Nice find I think thats really cool that you got this one right antler on this mule deers head on your trail camera and latter finding it you should really look around for the second one would be really nice to find then if you do find the matching other side you can take a picture of the sheds and the put the trail camera picture beside it really cool ,congrats on your finds http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/images/icons/icon14.png http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/images/icons/icon6.png...

Sweet Freshie! Cool that you have the trail cam pic of him in velvet and now have a shed off of him. Now go out and find that match!
