anyone know if any of the lakes around kamloops free of ice yet

Usually 6 mile or Jacko and few of the lower lakes are first to go, I haven't heard of anyone out in a boat yet. Up here you can still drive a truck on the ice, so it'd be a while yet. Maybe if you phoned the Savona Pub there maybe someone there that would know if the low lakes are open, Good Luck!

Nothing open as yet. 6mile +2 weeks, Jacko +3 weeks Don't get excited 'til mid April unless we get +20 C weather consistently. It's still freezing at night in the valley bottoms. Check the local webcams @ Tunkwa and Stake Lakes(Overlander Ski Club)

It's +14 right now so hopefully only a few more weeks to go. there's still a little snow in the hills around town, once thats all gone I'll have to go check some out

6 mile has a little open water around the bluff. I would say at least 10 days
