to be honest with you, my pops don't even want to go near a moose, far from shooting one. it would not be a matter back home since most of the time it was our guides who took care of the animals and did all the dirty work lol. A side X side is his favourite and and upland birds are his preference.

thanks for the comment, no my dad is not a raja however his grand father was a NAWAB (Duke) in india. its a suzuki and i'll find out the model for you.

these are some of the smallest sheeps, goats, gazelle in the world, the weather is similar to africa's and it's the closest you are gonna get to hunting in india.

well the tricks aren't much different from here. if it's a days trip then the animals are fine by the time you get em to the freezer. although if its a overnighter or a couple days hunt, then we usually get the guides to quickly get the birds gut and pluck them and then either put them in the cooler or put them in a pot made out of mud.

dogs can be used but most of the time it is the people flushing and driving the birds to the standby shooter.

dad's favourite game birds to hunt are grey partridge ( called " teetar) and black partridge known as "kala teetar" back home. and since we have moved here in bc, he is deliberatly in search of the Hungrarian (grey) partridge. last year we discover a good spot for chukars and managed to limit out twice on our 2 day hunt. this spring we will be out looking for bears in region 3 aswell as searching for huns. any tips or pointers from you guys would greatly be appreciated.

Sorry for my ignorance but that is so far from what i expected to be happening in Pakistan. I cant believe there are Mallards there! It seems you Dad is quite an accomplished Upland hunter. I would love to run into him hunting, I bet you guys have a thousand good tales to tell around a fire!

Does he miss it or has BC filled the hunting in well for him?

anytime 835, he is always up to share his experience with everyone. due to its geographical location and climate, pakistan gets a very large variety of waterfowl.
