Do you think the limited entry synopsis will be out the end of March again this year? Has anyone been in contact with the powers to be?

Ahh the daily 'is it out yet' thread.
I was worried it wasn't going to come. Now I can sleep tonight knowing all is still right with the universe :)

The website says mid-april...I was hoping they would keep their promise and have it out in March like last year...I believe mid april is still earlier than it used to be though.

Yes...the government website says mid-April, which is better than May.

Why not put it out in February after the spring grizzly draw is done?
Lots of guys seem to have comments about these guys asking why it isn't out..... Seriously, Why isn't it out earlier?

I don't think they are done their counts and because the harvest questionaires haven't been completed yet, they need to wait for that data to come in so they can have an accurate number. They made huge strides last year getting it completed so early...this is the government we're talking about here...baby steps :)

I emailed them and they thought there was a pretty good chance the LEH would be online by the end of this week like last year.

anyone check to see if its up online yet?
Lets take a hard left and hijack this thing into "the thread that you know is coming" when thinking about the LEH...
What draws is everyone goin for this year? And/or what are your most desired hunts this time around?
I have a sneaky suspision that no body is gonna put in for the kamloops sheep hunt this year so I figure that will be my draw to win. Other than that Im not gonna put in for much since I don't need the LEH's this year with my trip up north. They are sure gonna miss my envelope stuffed with 30+ draws for all the family this year unfortunately though.

I see that many put draws in for areas far from home that they know very little about. I suppose if budget isn't a problem then go, go, go, but I think I will put in for areas that I know I will be spending most of my time in this year, as I did last year. After a few years I should accumulate enough area specific knowledge to hopefully make a difference. If I had the budget ie. boat,quad, fuel etc I think I would go each year to some isolated place like 7-39,40,41, or Prophet/Muskwa for good odds for draws and to build a knowledge base about an area.
I called my local outfitting store yesterday and they told me the first week in April, but that seems to conflict with most of these posts, so who knows!

Went there last season, saw 5 cows, 3 calf but no bulls but they had to be around somewhere, i am going to spend lots of time scouting this summer.
