So I am looking around the net last night and come accross some great deals on Bino's (all from different sights) I am not really in the market for some as I already own four pairs. But......well you know.

So the binos are as follows

Year old Leica Trinovid BN 10x42 $900 Canadian
New Minox 10x42 $750 Canadian
Year old Swarovski SLC 10x42 $1200 Canadian

Or do I really need to change from my B&L Discovers 10x42. Most of my time I would be using these for caribou, sheep and guiding moose and goat hunters. I already have a excellent set of Pentax 8x42 for timber and deer hunting.

Any thoughts??

Cheers

Have you looked at this sight? Great prices, fast shipping, and a Cdn company.

Is there a reason to stay with the 42mm size? I would've thought that 50mm would let in more light and enhance clarity for distant glassing.

The SLC's are nice, but a bit heavy for hunting IMO, unless you dont do much walking, then they're fine.

Yeah I wouldnt go for the SLC's after I've seen the EL's. Go for the Leicas from the 3 you have shown us.
