Excellent idea, thanks for the great idea. Did you sweat the brass fitting into the bars? K

No 4 inch copper, slide them in, don't have to secure them, doesn't affect your heated grips, the 2 fittings secures the rack, tired of nothing on the market that works, the holders for the gun will slide along the three quarter copper to adjust to your gun, a good tight fit.

So the brass fittings are unions? K

Brass fittings are unions so you can take it off or on, all the joints are soldered, cost about $25.00, as you see I have a ferring but if you want to move your rifle forward than just use 45s or 90s, 4 inches above the grips works fine if you like to stand and ride, hang a gps. holder or coffee cup holder off it, works great.

Good idea. Last fall I bought a universal windshield and was having an issue with where to put my rifle. I ended up removing the rear box and temporarily mounting it there. I might give your idea a try.

I have a fearing also but when you design the rack with elbows you can have it more forward or change the height etc, great for mounting my gps also.
Undo the nuts at each grip and its off. You can slide the holders along the tube to fit any rifle.

A million dollar idea and you just gave it away! Nice job, how are the pipes secured in the bars?

No steering issues at all and if you like to stand while riding just design the bar so it doesnt interere with your wrists by moving it forward.

Sorry forgot to say patent pending just thought i would share with the members. I have heated grips doesnt affect them. Depending on the diameter of your bar handles the best way to make a cut through the end of your grips is find the inside diameter wearher half inch or? cut a piece of copper which is the diameter you want with a pipe cutter. Pipe cut will be sharp enough to pierce the end of the rubber using a corks screw twisting motion which will give you a tight fit when you push the pipe in, put a fitting on it at the end of the handle grip and away you go.
