Whitetailsheds asked if I had a spare cape big enough to handle some nice shed for a buddy, Here is the answer :-D

What's wrong with having two mounts of the "same" buck, a year or two apart? That would be kinda cool, it would just be one expensive deer.:-|

Very nice work with the mount, looks wonderful.

The mount looks awesome! How did you set up the sheds? Are they pegged and removeable? The one thing that I love about having sheds is that you can pick them up and play with them. If I were ever to mount a pair, I'd need to have them removeable.

The mount looks awesome! How did you set up the sheds? Are they pegged and removeable? The one thing that I love about having sheds is that you can pick them up and play with them. If I were ever to mount a pair, I'd need to have them removeable.

These are on a metal shed connector system and are not removable, but if the need to fondle were there antlers can be done up with pegs for sure.
Saw one in Big Buck years ago where the guy shot a great buck and had replicas made and mounted so that he had the real antlers to play with whenever he wanted.

Looks great! I really like the large swollen neck so typical for up here. The deer is a cranker for sure. Grant your buddy will be happy for 4 sure.
