Wondering if anyone out there knows how much it would cost to have a new rifle shipped from US. I can buy a Rem 700 XCR 300 for 400.00 cheaper than in Canada. Understanding paperwork will be a pain. wondering how much I would save when all is said and done.Rather shop local, but 400.00 is a lot of money

Im not exactly sure, but from what ive heard from others its a huge pain in the ass, takes lots of time and paperwork. Ive heard you're better off (if you can get exactly what you want here in Canada) to just get it here.

You won't save anything, it's not worth it.

Many won't even ship an air rifle if it's over the 500fps.

Cost is about $240 if you have Korth Group import. Takes about 8-10 weeks. Korth is a FFL holder and approved importer/exporter with both gov'ts.

Definately worth it if there is something you can't get here yet...ie, Kimber Montana in 223

There's a place just south of here that will do it, IIRC its $250 for the first gun and $100 there after. Unless it's a real rare shotty or some $2500 custom, the savings aren't there to be had.
