Biggest elk ive called in

I shot a five X five the day before we got this guy we heard him bugle from across the valley and we snuck up on him and got in the middle of the heard. the bull kept moving off so we back out of the area and decided to wait for an evening hunt. we got setup and started calling he started coming in then went silent we had a spke bull and cow just about run us over, then the big guy stepped out one buddy missed at 50 yards i wanted to beat him with his gun. the bull ran to about 75yrd and my other buddy shot him we watched him run down a small hill out of sight we knew he was hit good but we couldnt find him and it got very dark very quick so we left P@$$ed off and now second guessing the shot. well the next morning we went back out and found him within 15 min we walked right by him the night before. He scored 332 gross and 323 net biggest bull ive ever been a part of and it was my buddies first elk so now he has big expectations.http://www.huntingbc.ca/photos/data/500/elk_12.jpg
