I didnt get any sausage made from my deer this year so for sure I am going up to the Cabins for a sausage bear. I have seen quite a few in the past very close to my houses.

I like to hunt bears on the NW coast of VanIsle. WTS, there's a healthy population in all of BC, over abundance... As usual, though, the deeper and more off the beaten path you can go, the better imo.

Lottsa folk like the Boston Bar area, some the Sechelt Peninsula, some the Shushwap area or Sicamous-Revelstoke area.

Lottsa Bears out there....

To add;

I don't put much faith into 'day trips'. They're good and success can be granted but I much prefer too make a 'go of it' and invest some time to the endevour; I've allotted 10 days for this spring's hunt.

Ennis Meats in Langley does bear .99cents a pound if I'm not mistaken. My son got one at Tunkwa last year, not big but very goog eating......
