View Full Version : Accommodation in Ft St James
A group of 4 of us have 2 cow draws in 7-13 in Oct, and have been looking for accomodation in Ft St James. I have contacted 5 places ( Chundoo Inn, Stuart Lodge, New Caledonia, Pitka bay and Douglas lodge) and only one has an area for hanging game. I am leaning towards the Douglas Lodge, but never having been to the area would like some recommendations if anyone is from the area or has stayed at any of these places.
We are tempted to get a wall tent setup but the cost is a little steep for the budget to bear right now.
Any help would be appreciated.

there's two meat cutting places in Vanderhoof, that can hang game (space permitting). 40 mins south of the Fort
What are the names of the meat cutting places in Vanderhoof?

The above post is why I love being part of the hunting and fishing world. I am always amazed at how people like us will go beyond the call of duty for someone we dont even know.
Hey Sitka,
Thanks for the offer, as it turns out I booked with the Douglas Lodge, and they said we could hang a pole right outside the cabin. I appreciate everyone offering to help out, but especially sitka, as the previous post mentioned, really above and beyond the call of duty to offer up your own hanging pole.
Gotta love this site and the good people on it.
