fundraiser sucess

the north peace rod and gun club held its annual fund raiser last nite. it was a great sucess. gross revenue $160,000. had several hunts up for auction. a two day guided gopher hunt in alberta sold for $4100, but as the auctioneer said they are big gophers.

I went to the Spruce City Wildlife banquet in PG last night. I dont think they raised anything near that last night but it was a good time. I was high bid on the Bradley smoker and the wife won a 50" tv.

What does the Peace club do with most of the earnings? does it go to stewardship, or mostly to overhead and club/membership initiatives?

I need to rattle your chain on some of the fundraising components next time we meet.

Definitely was a good time. I had a lot of close calls on some pretty good prizes last night. Got down to the final two on the 300WSM rifle. Fortunately I didn't win or I'd have to take back all the comments I've made about that cal.

me too almost won the 10x42 swaroski's wanda won a snake getter double barrel derringer that shoots 410 shot shells and 45 long colt. it is built in texas where i am told they use it as a boot gun. shoud be fun to shoot at the range. really wanted that polaris ranger but didn't come close.
