I'am asking for help for my son who is a fishing fanatic and will not kill a fish, I used to fish the Nanaimo years ago (35) in them days you were allowed two per day forty in the year, most steelheaders even in those days practised catch and release, we fished the Bore Hole on both sides of the river and the fishing was great, it was a winter run and around Christmas was the hottest time, My question is, #1 were do they fish now, as the Bore Hole is closed, #2 Are there SteelHead in the river now, or is it over for the season. I would appreciate the help as he bugs me every day to take him.
