There will be one up for auction at the Wild Sheep Society banquet this year (March 18-19) in Kamloops. You can bring Gatehouse, I am sure we can find some Doe-in-heat gel for him to buy:mrgreen:

Too funny on the second kill. Let sh*t fly in french isn't nearly as cool as it is in english.

I actually started to bid on that last yr , but Hitch and Gilmore had previously decided we needed to start having 'pops' at around noon...and we were kinda late to the banquette and I didnt have a clue about what buying the hunt included/didnt include...hidden costs/dates??so I backed out
SO...if we make her this time it WILL BE MINE !!

Going to try for an ibex for sure one day. I love those long jagged horns.

So many animals, so little time.

Depends on where you go..anywhere from 65 hundred to 12 er 14 grand. They have em in new mexico but it isnt about just getting an ibex...the experience of hunting such an ancient foreign land with the people who share common mountain hunting passions combo'd up with traveling there , the unkown possible dangers of being an 'infidel' while in the hills and making it home with the trophy to look at and remember the whole ordeal would be priceless...and wayy cheaper than a marco polo,,haha..

cool animals. Funny , few years ago I was guideing a lebonese guy , BIG SCI member ( big meaning avid)..anyway , out of the blue I asked him if he ever hunted ibex , he looked at me funny says," I shot the world record last year" and went on to tell the tale...just got me even more amped up. His name is Henry Dividian , might find it googling?
