many of you know about the wolf hunting program sponsored by a couple of local companies in fort st john as there was a thread on it a while back. just to give you an update. so far 8 wolves have been turned in. the largest weighing 118 pounds. hopefully more to come in the next couple of weeks.

Good stuff, go getim!!
dont know much about this. Is the hunt taking place by helicopter? I doubt any attempts to kill wolves with bullets without flying would make any difference. 8 dead wolves will probably just cause the packs to increase. I am not apposed to this at all. I hunt wolves a couple times a month.

No aircraft or trapping is being used. The contest is set up for a fair chase wolf hunt. It is a fun way of extending the hunting season , and taking a few wolves out of these areas won't hurt. The contest goes until the 21 of March so hopefully a few more will be taken as the females come into heat.
