I'm thinking of getting a recurve bow. Will I be-able to use my arrows from my compound bow, or should I get arrows for the recurve.

Totally different arrow dynamics involved. You'll shoot better and more accurately with proper arrows for the recurve.

One of the biggest considerations is the use of plastic fletch on the compound and the need for feathers on the recurve when shooting off the shelf.

Yep - feathers are much more forgiving than fletching can ever be. Even on compounds.

Depends on your draw weight. If you are using a lighter peak weight recurve (which is likely) then your arrows might spine properly for your recurve. You need to check the arrow spine charts. If they are too stiff with your current heads they might work with heavier heads, which is not a bad thing if your hunting with it. You could have your arrows re-fletched to feathers if you are shooting off the shelf.
