I have been talking with various folks regarding sept caribou and mentioned we had done REALLY well..kinda got the feeling no photos..=BS:confused:

found these couple of photos of a GREAT friend who harvested this 391 or 397 a couple years back while on a permit to accompany with Tim and I.

(Andy is from Alberta

Looks like Kahan lake , but then that area all looks similiar. The landscape sure looks familiar.

Nope not Kahan...lol...

while we were there, 3 other 400 book bou were harvested in the general area...it does have a propensity for big antlers and BIG grizzly...

Steven,

That is a beauty. How is their meat that time of the year and how much of it did you have to pack out?

We harvested 100% of both caribou, all the meat...4 guys made it relativly easy..

The meat was DELICIOUS..really really good, was surprised..but it was early season boo and really good...
