i have lots of questions on new equipment and what to do needed for a 4-5 day hunt in the alpine.
New equipment? answer yes no:

camo day bag? (camelback?)
bipod for gun?

i have three people that would be hunting. we need a new tent, should we buy with weight and size consideration

2x 2 man tents? weight 3.1kg for 4 season 2.3kg for 3 season
3x 1 man? weight 1.1kg
1x three man 3kg for 3 season and 5.1kg for 4 season

MSR compact cooking stove with fuel etc.

i know i missed something, any ideas?

Do a search and you'll find some really good threads or maybe someone will post the links to them.

One important thing to remember, do not double or triple pack items that you need one of. Before the three of you leave spread all of your gear out and make sure everyone has what they need. It is also a good idea to know what is in each others pack in case of an emergency.

Im looking at a Marmot Twilight 2p. Comes in around 5lbs, 2 doors 2 big vestibules, and it comes with footprint and gear loft.($290). There are obviously lighter tents, and maybe thats why I havent ordered the Marmot yet, in case I see something else I like.
