Where are some good high altitude roads near mcbride or within a few hours of there?

I just love to be way above the tree line and I owuld like to know if there is any high alpine roads?

There is one road that heads up to a snowmobile cabin. Its a forest service rd. If you are at the main gas station, look straight west and you can see some towers. The road takes you up past them to the alpine. You cant drive into the alpine though. You may be able to but you shouldnt. I am sure there is plenty more roads around. Mcbride is pretty country.
