Went out today to hike in the bush. Found a mule deer skull and lots of sign of deer. Not much snow. Lots of cougar tracks.

Lots of deer hair, legs, spine, jaws, skull and one deer leg - a new kill.

I found the Mule deer skull with the two antlers in a small bed of snow. It was mostly hidden by the snow.

I found him in a ravine 10 feet from a small deer trail.

I know a man from Carmi who has hounds and hunts the cougars.
