Paw,
The problem is you'll need to get a 50 inch Stone now so it doesn't look too small standing alongside the 60 inch MP!

Hello Quick draw MCGraw! Another thread on here has me thinking I should come down to the banquet and introduce myself to a few guys.
I'm wondering if my impressions of them are valid, or if the internet has left me with the perception that they are actually crazy.

Paw,
Since you are swamped right now, I'll help you out with the story part.
Edit it later when you get a chance.:-D

Mr. Paw left home heading to airport.
Fly, fly, fly, then drive, drive and drive while trying not to get attacked by rebels and militia. Then climb, climb, climb, take headache pills to combat the effects of hypoxia at 16,000 feet, then climb, climb, climb. Shoot a ram from a long ways off. Try to get to the sheep and down the mountain without falling off into the abyss. Then drive, drive, drive, again while trying to not get attacked and fly, fly, fly. Then go blind while trying to catch up on piles of paperwork in the office after being gone for too long.
Bout right, eh? You can fill in the blanks for these guys once your eyesight returns.

Blackwater

downhill angle was 94 percent cosine, dialed 7.25 moa for a 600yd hold (200yd zero), impact was mid onside lung, top of heart, bottom of offside lung, exited out armpit on offside.

Outstanding. Beautiful trophy.
Congratulations on your success in obtaining your trophy and having both the physical and mental ability to pull it off.

I was not familiar at all with this hunt so did a little research online.
This hunt is not for the faint of heart, (pardon the pun), and certainly not within too many peoples' abilities......financially or physically.

For those contemplating such a hunt, once you have taken care of the extensive (and expensive) travel, logistics, etc. etc., consider the following which I copied from an Argali hunt web-site www.argalihunt.com

HUNT
Marco Polo is one of the finest wild sheep and is one of the very top hunting trophies. Animals rarely descend below 3,000 m (10,000 ft.) The hunt is usually conducted at altitudes of 4,500 - 5,500 meters (15,000 - 18,000 ft.) Top physical condition is required. High altitude sickness with pulmonary edema, which strikes some hunters, may require emergency evacuation. One should not attempt this hunt without a thorough medical examination. Horses are rarely used.

Pretty much sums it up I think. Maybe in my next life ???

I just scratched"Cape Buffalo" off my To Do list and penned in" Marco Polo", I may need Ramshot to push, drag and pack me up a few of those hills Tho! Every step of that Hunt takes courage and incredible stamina, there's not a lot of Sheep Hunters in this world that could survive the trip, let alone take a fantastic animal like you harvested! Congrats on one hell of a Successful Hunt!
