Got a new "toy"

My birthday present finally arrived after I ordered it in early November. They told me right away that they were out of stock till January and I was willing to wait for it. I have heard good things about this particular unit the zodi extreme portable shower. Haven't used it yet, but initial inspection passed with me. Came with extra O rings and a little carry bag. You screw in the green propane cyl and fill the unit with 3 gallons. about 8-12 minutes later you have hot water depending on the temp you like (has a temp gauge and on/off valve) then give it a few manual pumps and it's shower time. I didn't buy the shower pole since I figured it could be made fairly easily. The unit sells for $160 not too hard a hit on the wallet.

I usually can handle up to 3 days without showering but on day 4 things were getting out of hand. The wall tent and camperette have been given a reprieve with this handy little unit. There's no curtain so lots of room for your girlfriends too. I sure hope it stands up to those cold November evenings after sweating it out chasing muleys all day.

The top of it looks like an old-time spitoon, but she appears to be solid and well built. How much did it set you back?

Deluxe .. now you just got to pack it with you . ! that will be fun . Be great for a base camp somewhere .throw it on the horse or the quad .

nice to have we made one of those, got a camelpack thing, a bigger version and we fill a big metal pot with water heat it up, pour it into the camelpack hang it from a tree and wala! we got a nice hot shower.
