Any one looking for a well made, airline approved thats lockable go for the Plano all weather, just got mine from Cabelas Via UPS for just under $150 to my door from the States, looked at other cases online and even went to WSS and could not find a better case let alone this cheap.

I can tell you one case NOT to go for the SKB 2 bow case it sucks!

First time I used the latch it broke! It has a sticker on the case
saying that "due to the rough nature of some airport baggage handlers
they will cover the latches if they break" WTF!

300 dollar bow case...

Do they actually have to be approved? I just used a cheap plastic case. No issues with west jet. I think this model was free?

Has anyone ever been checked?
