Fun morning despite it being a little slow. Clare ( tall lady on left) and I always enjoy just getting out and visiting even when it's not raining waterfowl.

Nephew Russ is new this year to the game, and has done quite well. He now, as of Jan. 23, will be able to hunt under his own bag limit......look out next season birdies!!!

Good job John and Tanya!! Looks like you guys had a great day! Looks like Russ is enjoying the sport. What a perfect setting you guys have to hunt in! Its not about raining birds, but just havin' a good time with fellow hunters, freinds, family, and enjoying the day. We had a wierd year too. MANY times we went duck hunting on our fields on what seemed like a perfect hunting day, but not even a crow flew!?!? Certainly much less water in our spot this year.
