I know grouse season is long gone, but heres a few pictures to get you pumped for the coming season. Only a few of my 2010 grouse pics. They seem to have an extremely high population in areas just outside of the LML, and beyond. Summer!! Enjoy.

Thanks a lot! I was just starting to cope with the end of grouse season.

Now I have to deal with the end is duck season. Feb 10 can't get here soon enough. I'll be working on my goose calling til then.

Beautiful batch of birds.

Nice Kyle84. Never really thought to take any pictures of the grouse I get... more interested in that nice garlic appiterizer they make while sippying a wobbly pop by the fire.

For the grouse hunters out there... whens that last time you got a good catch of those big old Blue's... miss the old days Mtn Blue Grouse hunting there like a good size chicken.

:-D There was a spot near William's Lake, a large meadow, where Dad and I found huge numbers of them on a sunny opening day in the early 90s. We filled our bag limits in about a minute...I've never seen that before or since! We then carried on with our deer hunting...

Here are some. Buddy and i ended up taking 42 in 4 days while out on a moose hunt. Froze them and ate them over the winter.

Very impressive Junorr500. I just love bagging these guys during big game hunts, grouse meat is just so damn tasty, a real treat in camp, especially compared to duck.
@chuck, i used a .22 on that guys, i try to avoid using a 12g on grouse. I might have shot him in the spine, or he fell..
