Looking for a place to chase grizzlies this spring. A friend has a boat on the Island and we were thinking of going across into one of the inlets. Being that its tough to get to and impossible to scout, I was wondering if anyone knows anything or has any tips on the Seymour/Wakeman area?
I did a search and didn't come up with much on here.
Is there some places to dump a quad off and cruise around? How are the roads? How are the grassflats? See anything on the logging near the water? What time did you go? What did you see?

Thanks

talked to local guy last year. he said old logging road already quite bushy.lot of space and easy to walk.good tactic if you just go along the coast and glass . than go and stalk once spotted anything

I just got back from Seymour Inlet, Woods Lagoon. As far as I can tell, this place is devoid of life!!! Seen one black bear track in the summer, not a single deer print in the snow this shift. But my co-worker said he saw the biggest grizzly print there is has ever seen. like dinner plate size.

More likely to find the grizzlies in loughbourgh, knights and rivers inlet.
