And my question is, has anyone shot them yet? They are perfectly legal and P&Y even allows them. The basis behind them is they are kind of like fibre optics in the vanes. They dont light up like a lumenock, as they gather as much light as possible from the surrounding area.

Check em out.

or how about these,

Made by Nufletch archery. Utilize a fletch system like a dart. Also very interesting.

On the face of it those Norway vanes look like a great idea. Too bad that there wasn't a video of someone actually shooting them so we could see them in action.

Fiber optic threads incorporated into the vanes is an ingenious idea but I wonder if the lighted fiber threads are visible from the business end of the arrow and if a deer might catch sight of them coming at him. Stranger things have happened...

Now the idea of swapping out damaged fletching "in the field" in a matter of a few seconds will catch on like crazy. My concern is the weight of the ferrule that holds the fletching. At 65.5 grains, that's a lot to put on the back end of a shaft.

Although, it will help compensate for extra weight on the front end when you're tuning you arrows. Still - it's a whopping amount to add to the back end.

Great idea, though.
