recent doe pics.

took these pics. the other day in my backyard. i live smack in the middle of Abbotsford backing onto a small strip of greenbelt. Nice to see the developing hasn't completely destroyed the deer population. We often see groups of 3-4 deer in the backyard. (And no, i didn't use the zoom on the camera, i really got within 20 ft. on some of the pics.) :grin:

Cool pictures, we have friends that live north of 264th. They see lots of deer, even a nice bruin from time to time!!! Your right, it's good to see them in the burbs!!!

Nice to see isn't it?? I have frquent visits often as well on our place it's just awesome to see there like my little buddys! A woman that I work with had 2 Bucks visit them on thursday, a 3 and a 4pointer? THey live on the south side of sumas mtn. Hope top see some pics mon. I promise to post if I can! :-P T-Bone

I saw a doe and fawn yesterday on West Saanich rd. Then today I saw a spike buck laying on the side of the road that had been hit by a car.

Nature has it's balance I guess.

iv seen lot;s of nice bucks so far, and this year iv probably seen more whity's than ,muleys

RE; 30-06 I've seen the same while spending part of the may long up in that country having seen whitetails which I haven't seen up until this year! But was aware of their presence up towards the Chainlakes and on the way to Midway(lots of roadkill!!!

I work on Wilkinson road in Victoria we have a nice big buck around I'm going to try to get a pic of him soon. Tons of deer on the property. Steve.

For those of you from Victoria there is a huge buck on Blenkinsop right now. He's a five point, or four with brow tines, whichever way way you want to look at it. There is also a heavy four point hanging around the Quadra exit off the highway. He occasionally wanders down Mann Ave right past my house so it could be one of the ones you're seeing down there at Wilki.
