A nice turn out at the fish and game club today. Only one set of moose antlers thou. 3 nice elk antlers from the island and quite a nice handful of blacktails. There were 3 or 4 that score in the 100's. There were 3 sets attached to the skull which were found shed hunting. These deer were found within a hundred yards of each other. The person also found 6 arrows. OUCH. Don't know if all 3 deer were found in the same year. All and all everyone had a good time, the burgers were good and as always the beer was good. Many thanks to the people that volunter their time.

And two of those blacktails grossed over 120"! One from Buckley Bay was 123 netting 117 and change the other was 124 netting 122 and change!

hi there was actually 7 blacktail deer making the island record book[100 in] 2of which made BC book[115in] There were also 1moose,2elk bc record book as well as a whitetail soring173 2/8 putting it in the boone and crocket book and top 40 BC all time.Good turn out good times cheers Grumps
