Just seeing if any one made it up around Mclease Lake 502 Last year for moose and Mulies? , just seeing how the success was up there last year .

Hunted there last year, my friends dad had a draw in 5-02 D. We had four guys in two trucks there for a week and did not see a single bull. We saw a few of cows and calves but not nearly as many as I remember when hunting there in the '90s. The biggest problem is the number of hunters. It was like grand central station in there, you could not stop the truck to glass a slope without 3-4 vehicles and quads going by. Even when we would go off to walk meadows and slashes we would run into people in the back country. It was as bad as anyplace outside Vancouver. This year we are going up by Prince George rather than back to McLeese.

i hunted there i think 3 years ago...its a good area to hunt lots of deer...lots of clear cuts too...

Well we hunted there 03-04 Moose were every were, Had 3 Bulls down First morning and had 5 Bucks down the next day , nice county lots of game , Also the Oasis pub right on the Mclease HWY is a great place for lunch and CHEAP lodging..

We came across 20 Hunters in 04 All of them had there moose down in the first 24-48HRS , Tyee Lake RD will get you the big Mulies..

Our group also put in for 5 2
