Depends on the circumstances. Did I shoot it? Did someone else? Is it alive or dead? Poisoned? A picture is worth a thousand words but it doesn't tell you everything.

When I see big fat drop tines like that it actually creeps me out a bit, looks a bit unnatural or freakish. Still wounldn't hesitate to feed it a lead pill though.

Some might call me crazy but I tent to think racks like this are ugly. I would maybe mount it because its a once in a lifetime deal not because I want to admire it. As said a few posts back those drop tines are freakishly weird looking. Mutton chops went out a long time go. Still one beautiful dear tho I wont deny that. Who eats the horns anyway.:mrgreen:

What do I think??? Well, my first though was"Hey, I can drive my Quad right up to him and drag it into the trailer, no problem!!! Then, my second though was" Whats this guy going to cost me at Gary's Deli for all the sausage I want made??? I did notice the horns, I though "Man, how many knife handles are in that rack"!!! After the Deer I shot last year, I classify myself as a Meat Hunter now!

Well if it is walking and I am glassing then I probably drop the bino's a bit wipe my eyes and stare at it again... grab the rifle line up the crosshairs and ask myself ... have I stopped shaking enough to take this shot... wham... as I walk up to see him lying there (like in this picture) I am trying to figure out how I might pay for having all the taxidermist charges or may be I just auction it off to pay for more hunting stuff... will he make the book and where the held did I put the camera... or forget that I would take a pic and post it from my blackberry to this site to let you know what I found.
