South island - Goose Land?

Hey

Sorry for posting and asking for spots to hunt, but I have no clue on this one....

A buddy from the north island is coming down to Victoria this week and wants to go out for Canada geese. He's asking me about decent spots on the south-island - say from Cowichan down to Vic.

I've never hunted goose and I've never seen a Canada goose in the spots I hunt, they're all on the golf courses :)

Are there any Honker hunters out there that could help us out?

We don't know any farmers or anyone else with private land, so we're hoping for some tips on public land.

These spots are sooo secret we had to PM the OP so as to not let the whole world know that Cow bay is the only public spot on the south isle!! :)
