Me personally probably not, i heard it was jam packed and not many fish being caught last year.

Its not about the fish being caught , its for Kids with cancer, all donations go to help the families out during the difficult times.
i will not be going but have donated my share to help.

Hmm didn't know about that i just heard it was a derby and that it was full as hell. Thank you for making me aware of that i was clueless but nonetheless i have two hockey games and have to work.

To far for me to drive. Been to that lake. Seen a guy catch and release lots of fish. Seen a nice grizz at the mountain side of the lake. Have fun guys.

There were over 60 fish caught last year...thats better than the 12 fish caught the year before.

hell ya !!! it's fun and as Ddog said , it aint' about the fishing but its a grea tday, wondering how a fish could even swin with all those lines in the lake... should have gotten caught just by accident!! but it's a fun day, take the bar b que and enjoy!!!!

I'll be there. Look for my old blue ford towing the 14 foot lund I'm going to win. Seriously though its a great family event and gets many outdoors people together in one place. Some things I've heard are No snowmachines or Quads. No open fires on the ice.

Not bad. I heard there was some rediculous number of people out on the lake last year though...like 1500 or 2500. :shock: With that many holes I'd be nervous about going out on the ice.

I agree its a great cause though!

Heard on the local radio station that they dumped 30 10-15 pounders in the lake for the derby.

88 They are going to put a few in apparently, and believe it or not they have people guarding the lake until the derby so it doesn't get pillaged:twisted:
