Wicked Diver day.

Well Ductchie,Steelco,Big Bore and myself got out yesterday. The first spot that we tried was okay but the water came up about two feet the last few days so I wasn't caring for it to much. The hope was that there are some canada's in the area but there was no more sand bay to set up any honker dekes.
So we pulled everything up and moved up to my other favorite spot on the Chehalis Reserve up the Harrison.
The wind wasn't right I was pretty tired and my head was a little foggy and Dutchie said why don't we move accross the little bay that we were in. Duh!
Good call. We ended up with a four man limit of which only two mallards and thirty divers. Buffleheads,golden eyes and blue bills.

I seen a couple huge masses of bluebills up their, good that they're getting hunted.

Well this is one ROOKIE bird guy that had a complete HOOT.
My car-poolers were so tired they had to get beauty sleep on the drive home!! But that may have had something to do with the previous nights festivities LOL

Having been in aviation for 25 years the term "Helicopter" took on a whole new meaning yesterday. I'm still laughing about that moment.

Thanks Qua honn for a spectacular day on the river. Hope to do it again one day.
