I actually heard the same rumors about 3 weeks ago when I was up there hunting goats. Apparently, it was a native gentleman and the buck scored over 200. Not sure if this is the same one or not.

Fellow shot the buck enroute to the river to hunt moose via jet boat.
He shot a nice bull moose in water deep enough that I wouldn't envy the cleaning job.
The buck was shot in an area known to be "mule deer" territory......meaning the wrong side of the line so to speak to be entered or scored as a blacktail.
Great looking buck!

do black tails get scored diffrently than mullies?
because that is not a 200+ mullie...

no the scoring is the same but it`s all about the place it was shot

Apparently the buck made the bc book minimum of 195 for non typical mulley's by a little bit.

Aint no blacktails around Terrace.
Actually there are mostly blacktails here along with a few muleys and I have seen a few whitetails too. I saw a big muley doe last month that had twins that were mostly blacktail. Seen other "hybrids" too.
That is one nice looking buck.

I've found another pic of the deer but it won't upload onto the site. Any ideas. Also got to see the score sheet and it was 195 7/8 and grossed around 201-202. It's pending a DNA test from B&C.
