Hey fellas, just wondering if there is any jack rabbit hunting around the okanagan valley. I would think there would be a bit of a population around Oliver/Osoyoos but who knows. Any help is greatly appreciative. Thanx.

I would be sure as the bag limit in the Christian Valley is 2 per day.

white tailed jackrabbit.
protected species. in region 8 anyway.

That is not a jack rabbit that is a cotton tail and much better eating than jack rabbit

cotton tail off limits too. just snowshoe open if i can recall.

Whitetailed Jackrabbit and Nuttall's cottontail both are protected species in BC.
Looks like the WT jack rabbits are now extirpated in BC
