Favorite icefish/coyote hunt combo?

Loon lake area, lots of lakes.

Usually the coyotes come out near dark looking for worms/shrimp/suckers left on the ice. Not a good idea for me to hunt after ice fishing all day as after 10 cans of blue and 1/2 bottle of fireball I should not be handling a firearm.

I hear the people up there are pretty nice. lol. heading up tomorrow for christmas. Not fully frozen yet. Might hit beaverdam, got a few up there at the start of dec.

When is Loon Lake safe to walk on usually? (3-4 inches of ice) 2 years ago we were driving trucks on the lake 3rd week in January at the end by the boat launch.

white moose was closed for the season when I last called....apperently Katie and bernt are on vacation....

They are open again. They were in vegas for a week. Bernd doesn't like to go to far in the hunting season. Ice usually good between christmas and newyears.
